Lifang Xie is a UCI Health acupuncturist with the Susan Samueli Integrative Health institute who is trained in traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacology.
Xie, who is licensed by the state of California, uses acupuncture and integrative health techniques to treat pain of all types, as well as hypertension, neuropathy, Bell’s palsy, anxiety, depression, fatigue, insomnia, night sweats and hot flashes. She also treats patients for conditions such as acne, allergies, asthma, bronchitis, gastrointestinal reflux, menopause, shingles, tinnitus and more.
She graduated from China’s Tianjin University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in traditional Chinese medicine. She later earned doctorate in pharmacology from the University of Arizona in Tucson. Her research focus is on the effects of electroacupuncture to treat hypertension in men and women.
Xie sees patients in Irvine and Yorba Linda.
