Dr. Ichiro Yuki is a UCI Health neurosurgeon who specializes in the medical and neurointerventional treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, including brain aneurysms, ischemic strokes, brain arteriovenous malformation, brain and spine arteriovenous fistula, carotid stenosis and intracranial tumors.

He also has expertise in minimally invasive endovascular procedures, including embolization and stenting of brain aneurysms, embolization of arteriovenous malformations and arteriovenous fistulas, as well as carotid stenting, using the most advanced imaging technology.

Yuki earned his medical degree at Jikei University School of Medicine in Tokyo, where he completed a residency in neurological surgery. He then completed a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles.

His research interests include development of neuro-endovascular devices and software for angiography and neuro-imaging. He is the author or co-author of dozens of research papers published in peer-reviewed journals and his research and writings have received multiple national and international awards.

Yuki, who also is fluent in Japanese, sees patients in Orange.
