The 2015 Orange County Medical Association Physicians of Excellence list includes 115 UCI Health doctors. The list was published in a special supplement of Coast magazine inserted into the Orange County Register.

The issue also includes a profile of Dr. Shaista Malik, director of the UCI Health Preventive Cardiology Program and Women’s Heart Program.

The Orange County Medical Association, a voluntary physician member organization that exists to promote the art and science of medicine, the protection of public health, and the betterment of the medical profession, selects the Physicians of Excellence. The list includes approximately 460 Orange County physicians in 60 specialties.

UCI Health doctors practice across the county. Patients may access specialty care services in Orange at the UC Irvine Medical Center, UCI Health Manchester Pavilion and UCI Health Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Clinic; in Irvine at Gottschalk Medical Plaza, Gavin Herbert Eye Institute and University Head & Neck Surgeons; and in Costa Mesa at UCI Health Cancer Center — Newport, Pacific Breast Care Center and UCI Health Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center.
