UCI Health opens Digestive Disease Center – Newport

Coastal and South County residents have access to complex care

UCI Health is pleased to offer more Orange County residents access to highly trained, world-class digestive disease specialists with the opening of the UCI Health Digestive Disease Center – Newport.

“UCI Health has long been a regional resource for complex and tertiary digestive disease care, using advanced technology in ways that expand the range of effective diagnostic and treatment options,” said Dr. Kenneth Chang, professor and chief of gastroenterology & hepatology, executive director of UCI Health H.H. Chao Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center.

The Newport office is located at 1640 Newport Blvd., Suite 350, Costa Mesa and has seven exam rooms, including space for diagnostic testing and minor procedures.

As part of Orange County’s only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, the digestive disease center offers patients access to clinical trials and therapies not available elsewhere in Orange County.
