Dr. Ahmed Mohyeldin is a board-eligible UCI Health neurosurgeon who specializes in skull base and endoscopic cranial surgery. His clinical interests include pituitary surgery, skull base tumors, primary brain tumors, meningiomas, gliomas and brain metastasis surgery, particularly as it relates to lung, melanoma and breast cancer.
He earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., followed by a neurosurgery residency at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, where he also completed a fellowship in skull base and minimally invasive cranial surgery. He completed a second fellowship in advanced skull base surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif.
Mohyeldin is highly experienced in radiosurgery and Gamma Knife procedures, with a clinical focus on delivering precise, targeted treatment for complex neurosurgical disorders.
