Chao, featuring community and scientific lectures presented by new American Cancer Society CEO Karen E. Knudson, MBA, PhD. Knudsen, the first woman and first translational researcher ever to helm the society, has placed patient support at the heart of the organization's efforts to drive both cancer research and philanthropy. The lectures are sponsored by the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center
