Dr. Phillip L. Guichet is a UCI Health vascular and interventional radiologist who specializes in the advanced, minimally invasive treatment of a wide variety of diseases throughout the body. His expertise includes men’s health interventions (e.g., prostatic artery embolization for enlarged prostate, gonadal vein embolization for varicocele), women’s health interventions (e.g., uterine artery embolization for fibroids), complex hepatobiliary interventions and catheter-directed therapy for venous thromboembolism.

Guichet earned his medical degree at Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He completed an internship in general surgery at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, followed by a residency in interventional radiology at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident.
