Katie Rankell is a UCI Health registered dietitian and program director of the UCI Health Weight Management Program.
Rankell, who is also a certified diabetes educator, specializes in weight management and outpatient nutrition counseling. She manages the UCI Health medically monitored weight-loss program and nutrition counseling center in Irvine.
She is an experienced counselor who works with people of all ages and diagnoses, individually and in group classes, and gives presentations on health and nutrition to community groups. She is also certified as a personal trainer and lactation educator.
Rankell's passion is helping others improve their health and quality of life. An avid fitness enthusiast and healthy eater herself, she practices what she preaches.
