Doug Turner, vice president of enterprise applications at UCI Health, is leading the implementation of a $200 million Epic electronic health record and applications project to integrate the academic health system’s six hospitals.

Orange, Calif. — Doug Turner, vice president of enterprise applications at UCI Health, has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of its 100 Rising Stars, a list of healthcare leaders under 40 who are making an impact.

The annual recognition highlights a new generation of bold, innovative leaders focused on improving healthcare, making it accessible, affordable and seamless for patients.

Turner is leading the implementation of a $200 million Epic electronic health record and applications project to integrate the academic health system’s six hospitals. The project will be completed in December as UCI Health — Irvine opens its doors.
