Randolph Siwabessy named Academic Medical Center CFO to Know by Becker’s
Impactful leader oversees finances of health system, physician enterprise, medical school

Orange, Calif. — Randolph Siwabessy, chief financial officer and senior vice president at UCI Health, has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of its 2025 Academic Medical Center CFOs to Know.

Siwabessy oversees finance for UCI Health, its physician enterprise and the UC Irvine School of Medicine, with responsibilities including accounting, planning and analysis, payer strategy, revenue cycle, supply chain and population health management. Since joining in 2021, he has helped sustain 15% annual revenue growth, led one of the University of California’s largest hospital transactions, consisting of a $975 million acquisition that expanded UCI Health from one to five hospitals, and advanced the $1.3 billion Irvine medical complex, which will include the nation’s first all-electric hospital. He also integrated revenue cycle functions across multiple entities and updated a 10-year strategic financial plan to support system growth and value-based care.

In summer 2026, Siwabessy will help open the UCI Health Rehabilitation Hospital. The 68,000-square-foot, two-story, 52-bed full-service facility will feature a specialized acquired brain injury unit, a dialysis suite, an imaging suite for onsite radiology, multidisciplinary therapy gymnasiums outfitted with the latest therapeutic technologies, outdoor courtyards and other spaces designed to help patients return to activities of daily living.
Siwabessy’s role encompasses business and finance for one of the state’s largest academic health systems, its physician enterprise and the UC Irvine School of Medicine. He has held leadership roles in academic healthcare and finance throughout California for more than two decades.
