UCI Health — Orange receives five adult specialty recognitions from U.S. News & World Report
Health system receives 34 recognitions for high-quality care across all clinical locations
Orange, Calif. — UCI Health — Orange, has been nationally recognized in more adult specialties than any other hospital in Orange County by U.S. News & World Report.
The academic health system’s flagship hospital received five adult specialty recognitions for high-quality care:
- Cancer (#30)
- Diabetes and endocrinology (#39)
- Gastroenterology and GI surgery (#49)
- Geriatrics (#45)
- Neurology and neurosurgery (#50)
Several UCI Health — Orange services were also rated as high-performing, including:
- Cardiology
- Orthopaedics
- Spine care
- Urology
- Women’s health

The publication also recognized UCI Health — Orange as one of America’s Best Hospitals, including a designation as Regional Best Hospital for Community Access.
The annual rankings recognize hospitals that excel in treating the most challenging patients and conditions.
The hospital is recognized in more adult specialties than any other in the county.
UCI Health — Fountain Valley, UCI Health — Lakewood, UCI Health — Los Alamitos and UCI Health — Placentia Linda also received high-preforming procedures and conditions for cancer, cardiology, diabetes, neurology, orthopaedics, pulmonology and urology.
