Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is a free, confidential assistance program that helps address personal issues faced by UCI faculty, staff, retirees and dependents at both the campus and medical center. Staff by experienced clinicians, this service is available by phone 24/7. A Guidance Consultant will refer employees to a local, licensed therapist or community resources.
Promotes whole-person wellness, develops programs and leads initiatives to support co-workers' well-being at UCI and UCI Health.
UCI Life Resources Program Confidential Counseling and Concierge
A free, voluntary completely confidential employee assistance program available 247 to support all UCI and UCI Health co-workers, retirees and their dependence, provided by ComPsych Guidance Resources.

The Office of Wellbeing provides free, confidential, one-on-one support via Zoom for all co-workers at UCI and UCI Health. You can discuss a wide range of topics and receive referrals for providers. To request an appointment, complete the form on the site and a representative will contact you.
UCI local mental health resources for residents, fellows or faculty
UCI Psychiatry offers assistance and works closely with you to protect your confidentiality.
To make an appointment, email Erin Carroll, manager, UCI Outpatient Psychiatry. Tell her you are a UCI resident, fellow or faculty.
In addition to offering sessions by Zoom, UCI Psychiatry sees people at the new Chapman Pavilion near UCI Medical Center or at the Newport Beach Birch Street location near the John Wayne airport.

Get support anytime, anywhere for any mental health challenges you face without going into a provider's office.
Headspace Coaching, Therapy and Psychiatry
A mental health app that provides behavioral coaches, self-care resources and video-based therapy and psychiatry.
You can meet with a therapist from your home or other private location via video or phone. You can also chat with psychiatrists through LiveHealth Online psychology who can help you manage mental health medications you take.
New York Life's Employee Assistance and Wellness Support program
This program provides you and your family members with three in-person or virtual counseling sessions per year.
