Orange, Calif. — UCI Health co-workers were invited to inscribe their signatures on the final beam that will crown UCI Health ― Irvine when it was brought to UCI Medical Center in Orange on Thursday, July 6.

The placement of the final beam taking place next week at UCI Health — Irvine marks a significant milestone in the construction of the medical campus.

This tradition, commonly known as a “topping off” ceremony, is a momentous event in the life cycle of any construction project. It signifies the placement of the final structural beam and the completion of the building's framework.

UCI Health embraced the opportunity to involve its dedicated co-workers in this momentous occasion, allowing them to physically leave their mark on what promises to be a vital addition to the local healthcare landscape.
