Medicare Advantage HMOs (Health Maintenance Organizations)

If you are a member of a Medicare Advantage HMO plan not in-network with UCI Health, you may be treated at UCI Health when the following requirements are met:

• You are assigned to a medical group or independent practice association (IPA) that holds a contract with UCI Health; and
• You receive a referral from your primary care physician and your assigned medical group or IPA authorizes care by UCI Health.
