Newly opened UCI Health — Brea Outpatient Center increases access to academic-focused care
North OC residents benefit from expanded advanced eye care, along with ear, nose and throat services
Orange, Calif. — UCI Health has announced the opening of the UCI Health — Brea Outpatient Center, a further expansion of the academic health system into northern Orange County. Located at 380 W. Central Ave., residents will have access to ophthalmologists from the renowned UCI Health Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, as well as highly skilled ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists offering comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions.
“Our team of expert physicians and surgeons is dedicated to providing personalized, leading-edge research-based treatments and clinical trials to help north Orange County residents achieve optimal health and improved quality of life,” said Tatyana Popkova, chief strategy officer and senior vice president, ambulatory.
“We are proud to further expand access to clinical innovation, scientific discovery and team-based specialty care in this region.”
Range of eye services
The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute offers advanced ophthalmic services, ranging from routine evaluations to complex medical management and surgical care. The institute also offers with leading-edge clinical trials, sight-saving treatments and therapies for any eye disorder. Northern Orange County residents can now remain closer to home instead of traveling to Irvine while accessing eye treatments and services, including:
