College volunteer applications open

You must be at least 18 years old and be available to volunteer for one four-hour shift each week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday for the first 40 hours.
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 100 service hours. You must also pass a general health clearance and pass a criminal background check.
Our college volunteers work in several areas:
- Greeters and customer service
- Administrative support
- Dispatch
- Transport
- Emergency room
- Nursing units
While shadowing or clinical experiences are not available through our volunteer program at this time, volunteer placements are intentionally designed around staff requests and operational needs to ensure a positive and impactful experience for everyone involved.
Volunteers must obtain medical clearance from their personal physician which includes:
- Provided documentation of immunity to measles, mumps, rubella and varicella, Tdap vaccine, hepatitis B vaccine series.
- Provided proof of COVID-19 vaccine with booster.
- Provided proof of flu vaccination during flu season.
- One negative QuantiFERON Gold TB test (blood draw) within 90 days prior to volunteer start date.
The most important requirement to become a volunteer is a friendly, customer- focused attitude. No medical or clinical experience is necessary. Successful volunteers demonstrate a willingness to serve, give back to the community, and provide compassionate support. Strong communication skills are required.
